Book and Document Scanners

There are a variety of products available now to scan documents that can then be e-mailed, saved to a USB drive, or printed. Among them:


Book Scan Station

ScanPro 2000

The ScanPro 2000 is an all-in-one microfilm scanner that meets strict energy efficiency requirements and has been awarded the “Energy Star” designation. It is ultra compact and designed for the rigors of public use applications. Users can view the
information stored on fiche, microfilm, micro-opaques, and ultra fiche on a regular PC monitor. Once they have located the information they want, a high-resolution scan can be completed in only one second with just a single click.


ScanRobot SR301


The ScanRobot Automatic Page Turning Book Scanner is capable of scanning books, automatically turning pages achieving a through-put rate of between 1,500 and 2,500 pages per hour depending on the size and condition of the book. Very fragile and difficult to open books can easily be scanned by the ScanRobot SR301.


Qidenus Robotic Book Scanner


The Austrian-manufactured Qidenus Robotic Book Scanner, distributed in the United States by The Crowley Company, is housed in a black-and glass cabinet, features a bionic-finger technology, and is suited for large-volume scanning applications.
