For libraries that have a library or Friends store or booksale, or are selling book-related merchandise at the circulation desk, In My Book cards may be resold as fundraisers for the library. The In My Book website has a special wholesalers section that welcomes libraries and Friends groups.
In My Book cards (the greeting card and bookmark in one) are printed on heavy-duty watercolor paper and feature drawings by book illustrator Meredith Hamilton. They are sold complete with a red envelope for mailing. The cards recycle from greeting card to bookmark (they perforate), and as such are a long-lasting reminder of the giver. Fifteen styles begin with the greeting “In my book. . . “ and conclude with such sentiments as “you’re novel,” “you’re the last word,” and “you’re top shelf.”
